Jura poludniowa / Northern Jura Beschreibung
The guidebook "Jura poludniowa / Nothern Jura" by Grzegorz Rettinger is a really unique item, because it describes all climbing regions of the northern part of Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska. On 448 pages the author described about 5 thousand routes and projects. It is the most up-to-date guide available on the market and it is already its fourth edition.
The guidebook's uniqueness is confirmed by the volume and the amount of information about such a big climbing area, including historical data (the author, the year of the first leading) and the updated database of routes and the state of exploration. The guidebook includes extremely popular areas (Podlesice, Rzędkowice, Mirów, Morsko) as well as those less known.
The guidebook has been designed in such a way as to facilitate orientation in the area and the choice of climbing targets. It contains colourful maps showing the location of the rocks. The route lines have been assigned colours corresponding to the level of difficulty. Now, one look at the topo is enough to know whether it is the right destination for us. Apart from that, probably as the first in Poland, we have used photo codes in the climbing guide, with the help of which every owner of a modern phone can instantly load the coordinates of a car park into the navigation or see the position of a rock on the map.
Included climbing areas
Podlesice, Rzędkowice, Mirów, Morsko, Piaseczno, Skarżyce, Trzebniów, Przewodziszowice, Łutowiec, Dolina Wiercicy, Suliszowice, Zastudnie, Olsztyn, Góry Sokole, Kusięta and Przełom Warty.
