Climbingspot Elona - Leonidio

The Elona climbing spot was the first developed sport climbing sector in Leonidio. Here you can find the finest sinter and tufas as far as the eye can see. You have a wonderful view of the surroundings, and the Elona Monastery is right next door. 

The monastery is open until 5 pm and is definitely worth a visit (please take care of your clothes when you enter the monastery).
In total there are about 70 routes from 4 to 9a. There is something for every climber.

Elona is an absolute MUST if you come to Leonidio to climb!

Access to the wall:
From the parking lot directly under the rocks in 5 minutes

Attention:
Some routes are up to 40 meters long! Most of the 70 routes can be climbed with a 70m rope. When clearing the routes be careful not to swing on the ground!
